HPU / Valve Block
The HPU and the Valve block are the hydraulic hart of your control system and are fully controlled by the PLC / ECC. OEM Yacht Service is specialized in creating the right set up of hydraulic hardware for your equipment and guarantees a perfect collaborative system.
HPU
The Hydraulic Power Unit supplies the hydraulic system with oil to operate. Depending on you equipment and oil needs, OEM Yacht Service can service, upgrade or renew the full HPU. During a full refit of the control system also the HPU will be exchanged to the latest technology. For example the temperatures and filter condition are being monitored and readings are being supplied to the touchscreen on the ECC.
Valve Block
Usually most valve blocks in yachts are in a good condition since they are developed to operate much more hours than being used on a yacht. Though because of the hostile environment on a yacht sometimes we determine lots of filth inside and corrosion on the inside. Depending on the condition and new requirements, OEM will recommend a full service or an upgrade to a new valve block.
Cylinders / Actuators
The HPU and the Valve block in combination with the ECC and PLC program, control the working of the cylinders and actuators used to move your equipment. It is very important that Cylinders are serviced on a regular basis and overhauled depending on the condition. OEM is fully equipped to service or overhaul cylinders / actuators and when needed also fully renew.
