Since OEM Yacht Service is able to program the PLC in multiple languages, we are also flexible choosing the PLC brand. As we are facing a challenging supply chain these days, we can choose a suitable brand that is available when needed.
Hardware
OEM is working closely together with Holland’s best Electrical Control Cabinet builders. We are using multiple PLC brands to make sure we can choose the best setup for your yacht and manage the challenging supply chain issues. With our hardware we can control upto 8 pieces of equipment each cabinet. This way you don’t need a plc controller per item, saving cost and maintenance. We can use your existing sensor set-up or upgrade to linear sensors to improve the way you control your equipment.
Software
OEM Yacht Service developed a unique software package for your PLC. With our multiple programming language we are able to program a diversity of PLC brands. Control and monitoring your equipment is brought to the most friendly level with our custom programmable touch screen, where all information of the system is traceable through a very user friendly menu.
Process
We start with a throughout inspection visit to create a plan based upon the current setup. Together with the yacht we create a tailored proposal with all desired changes if applicable. After mutual agreement, the engineering phase starts, followed by an approval of the yacht. Production of the cabinet and creating the unique tailored program happens simultaneously. Removal and installation of the hardware onboard initiates the final stage. Uploading the program and commissioning of all connected equipment is the last step before handover.
